Research & Data Entry Analyst
Musculoskeletal Clinical Regulatory Advisers, LLC (MCRA) is an orthopedic consulting firm providing advice to companies wanting to commercialize their medical devices in the United States. We are looking for intelligent, enthusiastic and driven individuals who are ready to bring the company's vision to fruition. As an early-stage company, every employee at MCRA has multiple functions, each of which are imperative to the company's success. Our current goal is to fill in an industry-wide database that will serve as a method of generating new business and industry analysis. The ideal candidate would have the ability to complete and work with this database in order to extract information relevant for industry research reports. The candidate will be instrumental in providing the data and its interpretation that is necessary to produce a high-quality analytical piece.
Job Purpose:
Maintains orthopedic company database by entering new and updated company & industry information. Analyzes industry information for company research reports.
Duties:
* Enter source data into Access database and be able to utilize the database to extract relevant information for industry research reports
* Gather relevant source data from company websites, press releases and product catalogs.
* Generate analytical statistics based on information found in company database regarding the industry
* Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures. Verify entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
* Knowledge or background in finance/accounting is a plus
* Must have intimate and proficient knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
