How are you all doing? There is no word to express how happy i was yesterday at the festival. You all
were so great. I commence you for your patient, your hard word, your understanding, and for being so
helpful through out the expo/fest week.

I have said my thanks many times through out the event but it doesn’t hurt to say it again.

To the Food Team: I would like to thank the Team Leaders of the food team for their hard work
dedication. I am proud to announce that this is the first year the Vietnamese community has sold food at
this event and with success. To be honest, I was a little hesitant at first when we decided to move
forward with the food sell. But when I found out chi Dao, chi Lien, and TaraThu were in charge, I was 100%
sure the food team can deliver and YOU DID. Bravo!!! A special thank to chi Tara, chi Lien, chi Dao and her
husband for volunteering their time and for making all the arrangement for us. I sincerely thank you and I
also am sorry for the rooms that were not available that night. I was on-call so couldn’t be there sort
out the problem. Please understand that there are unexpected ordeals that will come up at this event.
I also would like to thank My Linh for getting the food permit while vy was away. And last but not
least, thank you to all the volunteers for coming out and help eat…I meant greet, sell and advertise our
food. I will never forget how Tie^’n and Hy rao ha`ng and ummmm...our girls holding up coffee cups;)wink
You guys were so attractive that day. Because of you, we sold all the food. Hahaha…

To the Dance Team: cam on cac ban. You guys were amazing. Thank you to all the members for staying
until 3am to practice. You guys are hard working and fun to work with.
A special thank to out Team Leaders: Quyen Nguyen and Ly Vo. Without Quyen’s patience, i dont think we
could have that dance finished. You are very professional from the beginning to the end. Also a
special thank to Ly for her high energy. I think lots of people would not participate in this difficult task
w/o your word of encouragement. You two have very friendly personality that all of us would love to
have. You are the reason why the team are so united.

To the Fashion Show Team: Trying to get all the clothes was not as easy as i thought. However, you
guys manage to collect the best clothes for the show. This is a tremendous task. We ran into some
difficulty of finding enough people to do the fashion show....but i told myself "if i do the right thing,
people will support me." And it was true. I have the best team leaders I could ask for who are responsible
and working with their hearts to make this event a success. Thank you to our Fashion Show Team Leaders: Qui, Yen, Toan, and my wife Vy. Thank you Co Chu Niem for working so closely with us and for letting us borrow some of your most beautiful clothes. We thank you for your support and for be
with us at every event.

Thank you Thoa for your highlander's costume...they are so nice and colorful. Btw, do you have more
clothes for us to wear on the parade day? Thank you Nhu for singing when we need you most.
Thank you Binh and Bao To for helping out...we are waiting for the video.

Thank you Baovi for taking beautiful pictures of us. Thank you meet-up group: Hoai, Hau and our friends:
Bao, Vi, Don, Hang, Alex, and Tammy....and many more for coming out and support our performers and our
community.
Thanks to Thuy, Bich Tram, and Thanh for helping out with the food.

Last but not least, Cam on chu' Ta’nh, our organize for the event, LS Phong, chu Tho, Co Nhung, ba me.
Quyen, Co Hoa, and nhieu nhieu nhieu nguoi nua da giup cho ngay hoi cho van hoa duoc thanh cong my ma~n. A special thanks to my wife for helping me out with the event...and ummm thank you for being in my life.
